I still cannot believe Stephen has gone and we're now coming upto a year since Stephen passed away.

I think I'll spend the day watching Boyzone videos and DVDs.

What has everyone else got planned?

I don't know what i will do it is still such a shock don't think we well ever get over losing stephen will be think about his family andrew and the boyz i think the boyz are spending the day togther can't watch him yet to upsetting to think such a lovely man has been taken from us.I might buy a red candle and light it for him wish i lived in ireland then i could light a candle and leave flowers there.Proberly cry alot to gone so fast last year was the worst ever i also have the first anniversary of my dog aswell. I will come on here aswell to talk to people that fill the same way  i would love to donate to charity but don't have alot of money at the moment

I booked the time off work as couldn't face being at work it was bad enough having to be there when i woke up to the news.but i think i'll just have a quiet day of thoughts and prayers xx

I have decided that every year on this date I am going to dedicate to Stephen. I will light a candle for him, play his album, watch DVD's and just remember what an amazing guy he was. It will be so hard and I am glad I'm not at work as I don't think I would be able to face it. I will be thinking of him (as I do everyday) and thinking of the Boyz, Andy and Steo's family as well as making a donation to Caudwell. I'm just so glad we will all be here to support each other.

I don't know what I'm going to do yet, although there maybe a planned meet-up in my local city on this date so may go to that.  Still can't believe it's nearly a year - going to be such a sad day and will be thinking of Andrew, the boyz and his family.

   I suposse I'll light a candle too and cry all day. I can't believe 11 months had passed. I still feel so sad as 11October last year( I knew the sad news this day)

The first years gonna be a difficult one for me because I'm going to be in Japan on an exchange trip so will have to put a brave face on. It's gonna be awkward too because if I do get upset they're not going to understand why! I can't miss this opportunity but would feel more comfortable if I was at home and had my BZ friends to chat too!

I haven't decided yet, I'll probably snuggle up on the sofa and watch Boyzone DVD's.

I know exactly how you feel, I am in Africa on a charity trip and am heartbroken that im away for it. I am from Liverpool and went over to Ireland for the funeral and for his birthday this year, and I am sad that I can't for his anniversary. I will find it extra hard because I am away from my bestfriend who is also a fan and knows how I feel. I have asked my family to go to church and light a candle on my behalf and I hope I can get to a church myself on his anniversary while I am away. I still cant believe he is gone, I cry everytime I think about him and I still cant listen to or watch Boyzone, I don't know how I am going to get through the tour.

I fill the same it is going to be a very hard tour the last time i saw them was 2000 i will always regret not seeing stephen last year but no one knew this terrible thing would happen  can't watch anything with him in yet i know i so stupid because i didn't know him i was bulied at school and i have no friends and watching a listing to them made me happy. It will take time for every one all we can do is continue supporting the boyz so they will do more tours i sure next years will be brilliant like all the tours they do.

  I know how you feel Lucy, I had been Bz fan since the beginning but I had never have the opportunity to meet them or go to some concert. My speaking english is not good enough and I don't know any BZ fans here to talk or planning a travel to Uk, so I'm still with the same trouble. I was a lonely girl too at school and they were( and are) my refuge when things go bad. So I feel I have lost a friend, not an idol.

I have decided to head up to Dublin to the Laurence O Toole Chapel.....it not that far from Steo's home where he grew up.  Hopefully I get to lay a candle or some flowers there.  I dunno if his family or friends are planning anything on that day around the chapel so I have to wait and see. 

 I will light a candle and leave a red baloon in the air with the S on it.It will be a strange and hard day,it's also my dad birthday and that's not the right day to celebrate cos my head will be away

I definately want to do something on the day, haven't totally decided what. Have been discussing with my middle daughter (15) who refers to Stephen as "Angel Boy". We really want to go Dublin but it will not be yet as I have to sort out passports and money etc. As I only became interested in Boyzone a few months before October 2009 I know it will hit me more this year. Stephen and all the Boyz mean so much more now. I can identify with many sentiments expressed here. Rosie x
